Floor Refinishing Update
Last weekend my dad rented a drum sander and sanded down the front room and the dining room. I am now in the process of using a belt sander, oscilating sander, and hand sandpaper to sand out the edges where the drum sander couldn't get to. Hopefully I will have that done during this holiday weekend and will be able to stain and coat the floors soon. Then I can move my furniture in. That is unless I get distracted with my new cable service.......man I love the FoxSoccer Channel.

seems like alot of us are in the floor refinishing mode. Cool that you took it on yourself. We used a U-sand and that worked well but took a long time. Looks like you did well with the drum sander.
Hey there. I posted some questions about your exposed chimney on the August 24th entry. I'm hoping that you can answer them. Thanks! BTW, my name has changed because I started a blog after writing you.
nice work on the floors....oh I'm dreading the day when I actually get around to doing mine.
